Walk-A-Thon 2012















The Regina C. Williams Memorial Scholarship Foundation’s primary goal is to provide financial assistance to the next generation of college-bound students from within the Prince George’s County Community. “WALK-4-EDUCATION” is a fundraiser conceived to bring the community together and to raise funds that will be used to financially assist the educational pursuits of qualified high school seniors.

The WALK-4-EDUCATION Event seeks to:

  • Raise community awareness of our need to support the next generation of scholars
  • Partner with the Regina C. Williams Memorial Scholarship Foundation to raise funds to award as scholarship/sponsorships to qualified Prince George’s County students
  • Memorialize Regina C. Williams’ legacy and to stir her passion to serve our youth

To bring the Prince George’s County Community together in a coordinated effort to raise a generous scholarship fund which will benefit well deserving and dedicated college-bound high school seniors.

The mission of the foundation is to promote excellence in education by empowering the next generation to achieve their highest dreams and aspirations. The Regina C. Williams Memorial Scholarship Foundation strives to achieve its mission by providing scholarships, sponsorships, and leadership development programs. The Foundation strives to provide funds and scholarships annually to Prince George’s County School college-bound students who clearly articulate their vision and purpose, not only for themselves, but their family and their community. The Regina C. Williams Memorial Scholarship Foundation also offers a “Uniform Sponsorship Program.” This program will also assist Prince George’s County elementary and middle school families with school uniform purchases.
