History

There are three ways to register for
the Regina C. Williams WALK-4-EDUCATION
WALK-A-THON on Saturday, October 6th.

100% of your registration fee (and donations) go directly to the Regina C. Williams Memorial Scholarship Foundation and is tax deductible.

  1. PRE-REGISTER online (PREFERRED OPTION) —
    (On-line registration ends Thursday, October 4 at 5 pm)

    • To pre-register online, please click here.
    • Fill out the Registration Form and click submit.
    • Upon completion of your registration, you will receive email confirmation and event packet.
    • Please bring the Event Waiver to the Check-In tent on Event Day, pickup your T-shirt(s) and you are ready for the walk!

  2. PRE-REGISTER by mail —deadline for receiving pre-registration by mail is Thursday, October 4 (It is important that forms be received by October 4)

    • Mail or bring your completed and signed registration form to:

    • After we receive and process your registration you will receive confirmation and your Event Packet via email.
    • Sign your Event Waiver and bring it to the Check-In Tent on Event Day, pick up your T-shirt(s), and you are ready for the walk!

  3. REGISTER on the DAY of the Event!
    If you wish to register on-site (October 6) please bring your completed packet (Event Waiver, Registration form, Pledge form) along with your donation. Please be advised that the registration fee on the day of the event is a minimum donation of $35. Registration begins at 8:30 a.m.

  • WALKER WAIVER. By submitting this agreement, I hereby assume any and all risks which might be associated with the walk. I waive and release any and all rights and claims for damages which I may have against Regina C. Williams Memorial Scholarship Foundation and MNCPPC (Maryland National Capital Park & Planning Commission) and any others connected with this event, their representatives, successors and assigns for any and all injuries or damages for any kind whatsoever suffered by me as a result of taking part in the walk and any related activities. I also understand and agree to permit Regina C. Williams Memorial Scholarship Foundation and the sponsor of this event to use for publicity purposes my name and pictures of me without liability or obligation to me.
